Sunset Park began life in the 80’s as a simple caravan park. Its growth and development into one of the North West’s leading holiday parks is a superb example of entrepreneurship and private investment within the tourist industry. Though relatively small, Sunset has a range of quality facilities and features, more commensurate with a large park.
We are a rural country park but offer enough family entertainment on the park to please customers without losing our ‘country qualities’. A multiple award winning park, featuring sumptuous holiday homes with exceptional comfort and style.
Lifestyle is what it is all about in the end. Creating an aesthetically pleasing blend of man and nature for our holiday makers to enjoy what Sunset Park does well!
Lakeside is an exclusive development of 12 deluxe Holiday Homes and Cape Cod style lodges finished in a sage coloured Canexcel cladding with rosewood trim to blend into their surroundings.
Careful landscaping and tree planting have enhanced its ambiance, with over 150 trees, shrubs and bulbs planted. Holiday homes are placed directly around the lake where owners can actually fish from their decks!
The interiors are fitted to the highest standards. They are finished with the latest of equipment to have all the comforts of home. While some are officially three bedrooms, we have only furnished two of them leaving the third for you to make it into whatever you choose; a bedroom, playroom, office, sewing room, etc. Your home, your choice!

Meadow Point @ Sunset is an exclusive, gated community of only 20 timber clad, luxury lodges, custom built for Sunset to our design.
All homes are centrally heated. Your patio doors open onto timber decks that extend your living space offering the option of a nice barbecue on a sunny afternoon or simply a quiet place to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings at Sunset.
Your private car space is at your doorstep and there is enough space for you to customize your lodge with a side sitting area or by enhancing your lodge with your gardening skills.

Green Meadows @ Sunset was designed after the popularity of Meadow Point.
Again, a gated community, it overlooks the country meadows and has an area of traditional caravans plus luxury lodges in a Cape Cod style.
All centrally heated with services underground, they are finished in the ‘timber looking’ Canexcel cladding for ease of maintenance with skirting to complete the look and add to insulation. All have deck areas to extend your living space and let you enjoy everything the countryside has to offer.

The main body of Sunset Park surrounds the central hub of the park - our offices, reception and entertainment complex - The Puddled Duck.
You’ll be amazed at the space, style and comfort of today’s caravan holiday homes. There’s a full range of 12ft wide units to suit your budget. You’ll be surprised at how affordable a caravan holiday home can be!
All caravan holiday homes at Sunset are sited with mains electric and, with a few exceptions, all with mains gas. Parking space is provided beside or near to each holiday home for your convenience.
All holiday caravans are fitted with attractive skirting in keeping with the design of the home to hide all services, give a complete look and aid with insulation. Depending on the model of caravan, licences of up to 50 weeks are available.
